| C. Highways do get things badly wrong. This road and the junction with the Caldecott Road are inherently dangerous and there will be many accidents. A. There have been no recorded accidents in 10 years on this stretch of road and Highways don't consider it to be particularly dangerous. Q. Are you saying that you will build the estate and new access road and be happy to wait for someone to get hit? A. There is always a risk on roads, they are dangerous places. We don't think this design is any more dangerous than average. |
