Could you please decide what you are proposing about the trees in Bidwell Lane. The answers to questions in the session aren't consistent:
  1. Q059 "This needs more thought" A. (from land owner) I confirm that all the mature trees along Bidwell lane will remain.
  2. Q046 "The trees will remain'
  3. Q044 Consideration can be given to give up land to widen the road....how do you move the trees? A. (from land owner) The road cannot be widened here as there are mature trees in the way.
Do you propose the access to the properties would be between them? A. (from land owner) This is a matter which will be raised with the Highways Authority should the application progress.

These trees are an important feature in Caldecott and in 1972 a Preservation Order was placed on them for this reason ,
